I’m Amber Thuston, a California Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), certified grief therapist, and evidential medium.

Healing with Amber was created for individuals navigating grief, identity shifts, and life transitions who want support that honors both psychological care and spiritual depth.

My work blends evidence-based therapy with spiritually informed care both are held within clear ethical boundaries.

My Journey:

Grief has been a companion throughout much of my life appearing in different forms, at different stages, and often in ways that weren’t always named or understood.

As I searched for support throughout the years, I struggled to find a therapist who truly understood me as a whole person. As a BIPOC woman, I often felt that parts of my identity, spirituality, and lived experience were overlooked or minimized in clinical spaces.

That gap stayed with me.

It shaped not only how I sought healing, but how I chose to practice. My work is informed by both personal experience and professional training, with the intention of offering the kind of care I once needed. attuned, culturally aware, and deeply respectful of all that you are.
